I blacked out this morning. It started with elevated heart rate and an ominous feeling, then my vision started to darken as I ran from the Willets bathroom. Having no visuals on my trajectory, I bumped my head a few times and collapsed. I don't think I ever lost consciousness; some people called public safety, and my vision started returning around the time the officer got me to stand back up. I spent the rest of the day in worth, and should have blood test results by midday tomorrow. It appears that I am ok and that the blackout was caused by either heat stroke or post-fever/post-sudafed blood vessel dilation. My back and arms still hurt, probably from the fall.
Needless to say, I haven't been very productive today, missing all my classes and getting very little other work done. I found out what a Vinigere cipher actually did, but otherwise have been aimlessly websurfing and sometimes trying to sleep. Going from cold to eye infection to something feverish to blacking out is not good for one's life in general. I do still wish I had the focus to actually do things; shit keeps happening that would block me from stuff like Tinker and a second hackathon, but I'm not sure I'd have the initiative to start things anyway. That can be fixed though, once some things have stabilized a bit.
