1) 1st physics 50 assignment: done. Without the aid of problem session. At this rate, it shouldn't be much harder than 7, even if I can't ask John all my stupid questions.
2) CS37 has, so far, been really easy.
3) Phys14 sounds easy. I haven't actually started any of it.
4) Acting is fun. It is full of girls. As opposed to the 3 physics/cs courses, which are also fun but are full of nerdy men.
So I should decide whether I want to take a 5th class, or have time to write serious code. Social life is still happening way too slowly, and I'm not sure at all how to progress. I am caught between the lameness that is Swarthmore parties and the lameness that is sitting around on Saturday nights. Maybe some theater people can help me delamify something; I have a feeling they have more fun than we do, even without expanding "fun" to include hard physics problems. Expanding one's social circle this way is awkward.
Weightlifting + fencing + contra = fun + ow.
Another fundamental question: major in math or physics? I want to major in the one that prepares me to do anything and everything after graduation. This means that the skills should be as general and varied as possible, not just the subject matter itself.
